Domestic and sexual
violence are tragic realities in our community, victims and survivors need the
comprehensive, compassionate services that we provide - every hour, every day -
to begin healing and rebuilding. But that's not why I work at WISE.
I work at WISE for the inspiration, the passion, and the people. The people in
the community who surround WISE with support, the staff coming to work day in
and out, volunteers answering the crisis line at any hour of the night, and
board members dedicated to cultivating the resources we need to sustain our
mission - these people are passionate. They are an inspiration. These people
who come to WISE by choice: community organizations that collaborate with us to
provide the best services possible, clients who grow, flourish and succeed in
the face of violent obstacles. These are the stories of WISE – those of
community and triumph and compassion, and our unified vision of a more peaceful Upper Valley. Welcome.
